Before regular tuition begins, I can carry out an initial discussion or learning assessment. The purpose is to understand where the student is now — so lessons can be structured around their individual needs rather than using the same method for every learner.

Years 3–6
Building strong foundations in number, reading for understanding and early scientific thinking, with patient support for confidence.
Key Stage 3
Years 7–9
Strengthening subject knowledge and study habits across Maths and Science as topics become more structured and demanding.
Key Stage 4
Years 10–11
Focused GCSE preparation and revision, practice questions and targeted support for the topics students find hardest.
